The proposal is for 43 individually designed residential apartments for people over 55 with landscaped gardens, basement parking, refuse and cycle storage and private fitness centre.

Located within the heart of Bush Hill, the site is situated right by the gates of Bush Hill Park Golf Club within easy walking distance of public transport links and all the local amenities the village has to offer. We believe the site represents an opportunity to provide much needed high quality housing for over 55s who wish to stay within the local area in a block specially designed for older people who want to down size or simply not have the worry of the
big gardens while still enjoying a maintained communnal garden.

The site provides a great opportunity to replace the derelict houses and overgrown gardens with luxury blocks of flats that reflects the local architecture and provide much needed housing for older people who want
to down size and stay in the area.

The apartments set within four 3 ½ -storey apartment buildings, that are of a similar height and architectural style to the existing large properties on Bush Hill.

The proposed architectural style of these four individual apartment buildings has been thoughtfully considered to be similar to that of the neighbouring large properties along Bush Hill, therefore aiming to make them seamlessly fit in and make them look like large detached houses with gardens.

As well as reducing the impact on the neighbouring properties, the proposed buildings have been designed to accommodate the parking on site underground. The top floors are designed to look like dormer lofts as found
in many of the houses in the area. The flats on the ground will have private garden space and the ones above ground level will have individual balconies carefully designed to prevent overlooking with the neighbouring properties.

As demonstrated here, the designs are sympathetic to Bush Hill and makes use of traditional materials.
